About Powwow Technologies

At Powwow Technologies we primarily develop and maintain high quality responsive websites, enterprise web apps and native android and iOS mobile apps for a number of national and global clients based in Dublin. We also build and maintain our own utility and enterprise web applications to serve the general public. We currently have a small development team based in Dublin and we have additional business and development teams across Europe on demand.

Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Create website, blog and social media channel text, image and video content
  • Deliver effective content marketing within established brand guidelines to meet agreed business objectives
  • Manage content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention through manual and automation processes
  • Manage social channels and associated communities. Understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each, and why
  • Follow SEO standards and practices on all website content
  • Maintain industry relevancy by identifying and analysing the latest digital trends and developments in marketing
  • Work with the management team to identify and put in place effective measurement and reporting of marketing processes
  • Independently experiment with and test content that’s supportive of a growing global user base

Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist Requirements:

  • 2.1 or higher Bachelor’s degree in marketing
  • At least 1 years’ experience producing digital content
  • Channel/Platform specific knowledge (video, blog, email, facebook, instagram, twitter etc.).
  • Extremely detail oriented and understands the need for high quality brand representation
  • Proficient with multi-channel media tools: Video content creation and sharing
  • Proven track record of developing and executing editorial and content marketing with measurable results
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • The desire to work in fast-paced environment
